Last March 26-27, we had our school retreat at Sol Y Viento somewhere in Laguna.
I was edified and enlightened more about the gospel of Christ.
If you scramble the word SILENT, what word will you form? It's LISTEN. If we're silent, we can listen. We should listen with our heart open. That's the key. I'd like to relate it to what I've experienced the past few days. There are a lot of people telling me mixed things, good and bad. It feels like I'm inside a huge room with a lot of shadows and noises and what I can only see is a single light from afar, which is a door, a little bit opened. I focused. I had a quiet time. The more I seek God, the more I'm enlightened. I have overcome the trials I had these past weeks through the gospel I had in me. Despite of the noises around me, my faith is strong enough to hear God. It is nice that if we remain silent, we will be able to listen. If we're silent, it means that we're humble enough to listen. The words silent and listen go hand-in-hand.
God speaks to us. Let us listen and be silent. We'll be able to hear Him.
